WEBINAR, January 21: LAYERING SECURITY TECHNOLOGIES TO STRENGTHEN PAYMENT CARD ENVIRONMENTS
By SBE Council at 10 January, 2015, 9:20 am
Merchants accepting payment cards are targeted by fraudsters and hackers trying to obtain their customers’ cardholder data. This webinar will highlight secure technologies designed to act independently or in concert with one another to strengthen the protection of payment card data.
Technologies such as EMV chip, point-to-point encryption and tokenization can work independently to devalue data. However, organizations that seek to optimize the protection of payment card processing environments should implement a “defense in depth” approach (the layering of secure technologies and security best practices) to mitigate payment card data breaches.
