Dear Member of the U.S. House of Representatives:

The Small Business & Entrepreneurship Council (SBE Council) strongly supports the “Economic Growth, Regulatory Relief and Consumer Protection Act” (S. 2155), and we urge you to vote YES on this important legislation.

Access to financing and capital remain a challenge for many entrepreneurs and small businesses. Improving capital access and flow has largely been a bipartisan issue, and SBE Council is pleased that meeting the capital needs of small firms and entrepreneurs remains a priority for Congress. S. 2155 is a pragmatic bill that lifts requirements and red tape from smaller financial institutions, which in turn will improve lending to small businesses.

The economy is growing and small businesses require capital to take advantage of growth opportunities. S. 2155 will enable smaller financial institutions to more confidently and effectively direct more of their time and resources toward serving their communities and small businesses.

Thank you, in advance, for your support of America’s entrepreneurs and small businesses.
