Gallup and the National Retail Federation both predict a very positive holiday shopping season. That’s good news for small businesses. With things kicking into high-gear shortly – Black Friday, Small Business Saturday and Cyber-Monday are upon us – I’ve selected some practical resources and content to help small businesses not only survive, but thrive the holiday shopping season.

Throughout the course of the holiday weekend, 39.6 million consumers are considering shopping on Thanksgiving Day, 114.6 million on Black Friday, 66.6 million on Small Business Saturday and 33.3 million on Sunday. Over a third (37 percent) of shoppers indicated that they plan to do the majority of their holiday shopping in-store this year, and 72 percent will head to the mall to complete at least some of their shopping.
