Kerrigan: Republicans Must Act on their Commitment to Small Business

In an Op-ed that is appearing in newspapers and on news platforms throughout the country, SBE Council president & CEO Karen Kerrigan reviews the uncertain economic state of small businesses and why it is necessary for House Republicans to advance various pro-growth, pro-entrepreneur measures in their “Commitment to America” agenda. Kerrigan writes:

“Sound pro-growth, pro-entrepreneur policies matter to the success and survival of small businesses. That’s why it’s encouraging to see Republicans using their new House majority to lend these firms a helping hand.”

Kerrigan notes that the House GOP is off to a good start and small businesses are counting on their success as the array of reforms in the legislative pipeline “aim to further restore economic stability and growth” by addressing “the current pain points of small business owners — including overregulation, regulatory threats, and uncertainty with regard to important tax relief and incentives — while curbing the rampant government spending that’s been fueling inflation.”
